We read with great interest the article by Strumwasser et al. [1] showing a poor correlation between sonographic optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) and invasive intracranial pressure (ICP). These results are surprising as two recent meta-analyses have shown a good relationship between ONSD and ICP [2, 3].
